Just in time to grace the Thanksgiving Day table, my latest finish is a table runner made of All Hallow's Eve by Fig Tree Quilts. It turned out so pretty and elegant.
This table runner is made with a block from a pattern I'm developing, Log Cottage. Look for this full pattern sometime after the new year in 2020. Using jelly roll strips or cut strips from yardage and simple strip piecing, this pattern is going to be a fun, quick make. My favorite kind of quilt pattern : )
The small gray print with dot of black is my favorite print of the All Hallow's Eve fabric line. I'm a bit of a sucker for small prints : )
Usually table runners are a much quicker finish for me. This little quilt was started in September on Sew With a Jelly Roll Day while we were in temporary quarters waiting to close on a new house in a new state. With so much new and uncertain, it was nice to just sit and work on this project when I was able. Although it didn't get finished until a week or so ago, it is finished now and makes me smile to have it done for T-day. It reminds me to be grateful for little blessings.
Here are a couple of my favorite blocks.
Straight line quilting with the walking foot because I still love it. I really like how the quilting kept with the simple, elegant feel of this quilted table runner.
Pattern now available here in my
Thank you!
