Every year it seems I fall hard for an autumnal fabric line. This year (2025) it was Sunflower Whispers by Lisa Audit for Riley Blake Designs.
Everything about this fabric pulled me in - the colors, the prints, the name - Sunflower Whispers!
Just perfect!
I didn't get to make as much I planned with it, but I did get to make a couple small projects and I'm so grateful.
This quick little runner features my pattern Charming Ripples, which is a quick, happy tablerunner to make with a charm pack and a bit of accent and background prints. It turned out as perfect as I hoped.
I really wanted to use a pantograph design like Floral Crosshatch (love this quilting panto) edge-to-edge longarm quilting pantograph from Urban Elementz, so I reached out to them with my request for a fallish design, and they came up with not one but TWO fall/autumn options!
Autumn Crosshatch is the first design I stitched out. (see my next blog post for the second fall crosshatch option for some more cute crosshatch quilting).
The little leaves and acorns with the crosshatching is adorable! Love!!
I shall look forward to using this quilted table runner for many years to come.
Happy quilting, everyone!
Anna : )
