A Baby Quilt - Little Fawn version

The Little Fawn fabric line by Dear Stella makes the cutest baby quilt ever!!
I think I need a bolt of each print so that I never run out and can make a baby quilt for every baby that comes into my life.

The critters are darling and the colors are warm and cozy - perfect for rocking and cuddling.

The quilt design is inspired by the simplicity of my Simply Done pattern.
The background strips are narrower and the main print pieces of the quilt block are a bit shorter. They might be a tad too wide but I so wanted to let these darling prints shine so opted for wider.

Straight-line quilting keeps it simple and lets the fabric shine.

The botanical prints of Little Fawn are the perfect compliment to the little critter prints.

It was so wonderful to gift this baby quilt to a darling new baby - perfect addition to his preciousness.

Happy quilting : )
Anna

  1. Can I order one of your pattern outside Etsy? I don’t deal with them. It’s the modern log cabin table runner

    3. Hi Barbara, On my quilts that are used (throw quilts, bed quilts, baby quilts, etc) I usually quilt about 1.25". This seems to hold the quilt together well but still allow it to be cuddly. Happy quilting : )

  7. Hi Anna, I love the quilt and I ordered the baby cuddles pattern. I’m trying to find where to purchase the little fawn and friends background. Did you purchase it from the Dear Stella collection? If not, can you tell me what color you used and where you purchased it? Thank you, Julie Davies

    1. All the animal/foliage prints are from the Little Fawn and Friends collection. The other two prints (green and beige vertical prints) are Dear Stella Coordinate Quilting Cotton Fabric - Moonscape - Reed and Beige. Hope this helps you find what you are looking for.

    1. The fabric used in this quilt is called Little Fawn by Dear Stella. It's a couple years or more old so you might have to do some searching to find it. Happy shopping and happy quilting : )
