Vintage Just Strips Table Runner

A quilt shop had a Vintage fat quarter bundle on clearance sale, and I couldn't resist. There is just something about this fabric line from Sweetwater for Moda Fabrics that pulls me in every time I see it. I think its the colors and the prints - a blend of summer and patriotic.

Wanting to sew up a quick runner, I grabbed my Just Strips quilt pattern, cut a few strips, and voila! finished so quickly!

For quilting I used the Crosshatch edge-to-edge pantograph from My Creative Stitches. I need some practice working with this panto but love how it turned out.

Such a sweet little quilted tablerunner that added the perfect fresh touch of charm to our dining room table this summer.

Happy quilting, everyone : )

Abloom Charming Breezes Runner

Finished up a Charming Breezes quilted table runner earlier this summer with a charm pack of Abloom by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics.

This fabric line is so darling. I love everything about it - the colors, the prints. I might have gone overboard and have enough in stash for several more projects : )

Quilted this runner on Millie the APQS longarm with a new pantograph, Peeling Good from My Creative Stitches.  Love it! I sized it down a bit to make it more dense and it turned out perfectly!

Quilting thread of choice is
Superior Threads So Fine.

Here Charming Breezes is coordinating with a Shine Barn Quilt. Mmm. Mmm. So good!
Both patterns can be found in my shop here.

Happy quilting, everyone : )

Shine Barn Quilt - Vintage Charm

Finally! My 5" stacker, aka charm pack, of Vintage Charm (a Riley Blake Designs fabric line) has been made into a quilted wallhanging. And I could not be happier with how she turned out.

Here she is fresh off Millie the APQS longarm quilting machine, and it was love at first sight. Isn't the floral border print just perfect?!  And the striking red dot adds the prefect bit of drama.

Couldn't resist snapping this quick picture during the binding process.
The Shine Barn Quilt makes a very lovely quilted table topper. Don't ya think?
The floral prints and little apples have all the heart eyes!!

When @leishakaye shared her Liberty pantograph on Instagram on a little patriotic table runner quilt she quilted, I knew it was the pantograph I was going to use for quilting.

And it did not disappoint. The Liberty longarm edge-to-edge pantograph quilted out so smoothly and flawlessly.

I think it adds the perfect fun, soft, summery finishing touch to this patriotic Vintage Charm version of the Shine Barn Quilt.

I think this quilted wall hanging quilt is going to be hanging up for just a bit more, and I don't care that it's not July any more. Such a lovely quilty finish.

The Shine Barn Quilt pattern can be found in my little shop. It has three size options - mini charm pack (2 1/2 inch squares), charm pack (5 inch squares) and layer cake (10 inch squares).

Oh goodness! Almost forgot! I need to document that this was my Lake Ada project for 2025. Whenever we go to the lake my family is so good about making room to take my sewing machine, chair, and little table, and I'm so grateful.

It is my favorite place to sew.

Happy quilting, everyone : )
