Charming Breezes might be my favorite table runner quilt pattern. It checks all the boxes - striking design, charm pack friendly, room for a favorite focal point fabric, and easy cutting and piecing.
This particular Charming Breezes table runner is made with Sweet Meadow from Benartex. So so lovely! The prints and colors are beautiful. You know I adore tiny prints and that border floral is perfection!
Not sure where this runner is going to live come spring/summer, but for now I'm happy that its loveliness is finished.
The pattern includes three sizes -
14" x 40"
14" x 60"
14" x 80".
I made up the 14" x 60" and actually made two runners at a time with one charm pack - one to keep and one to gift.
The gifted one is quilted with the Melissa's Petal Tiles edge-to-edge long arm quilting pantograph that I got from Urban Elementz. The tile effect reminds me of tiles you might see used in old European homes and suits the fabric so well.
See how the quilting is centered so perfectly? Pure happenstance : ) and I love it!
The E2E long arm quilting pantograph on the one I kept is Briar Rose in Spring from My Creative Stitches. As usual for any longarm quilting panto from them, it stitched out smoothly and beautifully.
Really really love how this quilted tablerunner turned out. The quilting is perfect.
The little quilted flower motif mimics the little flower in the border print.
Just a couple more sweet pics of Sweet Meadow's loveliness.
Happy quilting, everyone!
