One jelly roll (or a partial jelly roll) + accent fabric (or charm squares) + background = one large throw quilt OR a runner and a throw OR a runner and topper and baby quilt. When writing this quilt my goal was to utilize as much of a jelly roll (2 1/2" strips) as possible. I believe that goal was met in my newest pattern, Log Cottage.
Log Cottage Quilt Pattern offers five sizes -
Quilt Runner - 12" x 72"
Quilt Topper - 36" x 36"
Baby Quilt - 48" x 48"
Throw Quilt - 60" x 72"
Long Throw Quilt - 60" x 84"
A few of my favorite blocks. Love the green! Usually I'm not a poinsettia fan, but these certainly are pretty and whimsical. Little Tree by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics is such a pretty and fun fabric line. A pleasure to make with.
Log Cottage Quilt Pattern is definitely a quick, simple finish in any size. Toss in straight line quilting and you can finish up a runner in a few hours or one of the larger sizes in a weekend or a few afternoons.
Once strip sets are pieced and sliced, Log Cottage blocks piece like a traditional log cabin block. So much fun to build.

Obligatory quilt runner roll : ) Don't you just love the binding?! Almost didn't use it but am so happy I did. It makes a fun little finish to this quilted table runner.
Happy quilting!!!
Loved this pattern. Have made Christmas, fall and everyday runners with this pattern. Thank you!
