Wallflowers - Picking Petals mini quilt

Needed a summer wall hanging for our entryway. Had my eye on Picking Petals Mini Quilt by Carried Away Quilting for  awhile and had the perfect fabric - Wallflowers by Cluck Cluck Sew

Easy prep work.

Fun piecing.

Had a blast straight line quilting on diagonal. I SO love quilting and the results of straight quilted lines! Took a bit of ironing to square it up. Side note - do a bit of stitch in the ditch to anchor quilt top.

Overall thrilled with how my Picking Petals in Wallflowers turned out. I recommend this pattern - fun, easy to follow, stunning results.

Quilt Stats:
Pattern: Picking Petals mini quilt by Carried Away Quilting
Fabric: Wallflowers by Cluck Cluck Sew and Moda Bella solids and marbles
Batting: flannel
Size: 20"x20"

This is my second entry for the Blogger's Quilt Festival by Amy's Creative Side in the Mini Quilts Category.

  1. It is a beauty! I love quilt patterns that are fun like this and turn out so well. I'll have to take a look at that pattern. It would look awesome in fall colors too!
