With the left charm pack squares of Christmas Carol ( 3 Sisters for Moda Fabric ) from my Star Compass Barn Quilt, I made up this darling little table runner. I made it just like the little runner I quilted up with left charms of Avalon (Fig Tree for Moda Fabrics) almost 7 years ago.
The prints are mostly all the light prints from the charm pack. Paired with a warm white background and same binding, the sense of calm and peacefulness this little table runner exudes is so very welcome and warming.
I did simple wavy straight-line quilting with my walking foot. It adds a little bit of flow to the quilt without disturbing it's peacefulness.

It fits perfectly across the top of a small bookcase, and I think works well, even in the middle of February in Minnesota, for a bit of wintery cheer.

Hi I recently purchased the Lakeside steps table runner pattern from you. As I begin to assemble the 12 1/2 strips are nearly 1/2 inch wider than the accent block with the 2 -4 1/2 blocks added to it. I think the cutting instructions may be incorrect. I have double checked it and triple checked it.
