Welcome to today's stop on the Betsy's Sewing Kit fabric tour. Come along, everyone, as I share a couple of little projects I made with the newest line from Poppie Cotton.

The prints of Betsy's Sewing Kit are so lovely and filled with such a vintage vibe.
Don't they just scream "kitchen"?

I immediately knew that an apron make was a must. At first I was going to mix a few colors but couldn't settle on which ones so tried just the blues - love!

Check out this darling tag. Betsy's Sewing Kit has a panel of different tags.  I thought one would look lovely on a pocket.

My appliqué work needs work, a lot of work, but I just love how it turned out.

This second project has been on my to-make FOREVER - a dish drying  mat!

Using my favorite simple strips pieced to complete the top, the top was then stitched and flipped to an old towel. Straight-line quilting was added for texture and durability and cuz I like to quilt : )

No more grungy prefold for dish time.  Certainly a little pretty makes dishwashing not so tedious and more enjoyable.

It has been pleasure to participate on this tour with so much talent. Check out all these other lovely creations. Maybe you will find a bit of inspiration.
